Coppola vs. Eisenstein

Frances Ford Coppola might be the one who introduced The Godfather to the world, but it was Serge Eisenstein who invented "methods of montage" and up-close shots of "shooting in the eye through glasses" and "a child carrier strolling down the stairs" he used in his The Battleship Potemkin, later recreated by Coppola.
